Love in Exile takes a close and personal look at families and partners effected by the UK's strict immigration laws, and what this means on a human level. While many in the UK call for stricter immigration control, most people don't really understand what this means, and how it effects others until it hits closer to home. With some of the toughest controls in Europe, where does this fear come from and how is it effecting the country as a whole.

While it's easy to boil decisions and opinions down to facts and figures, they are also often used to mislead the general public, or are simply misinterpreted. It's very easy to say we need tighter immigration control, but few consider what this really means. These choices do effect people, but without seeing the effects it's impossible for people to consider this or feel any kind of empathy. But there are many partners and families who are struggling, and don't have the support needed to over come this, at least not without money.
